OUR ACADEMIC PHILOSOPHY:
 Indus Academy stresses a holistic development of every learner with the yearning for excellence in academic and other vital aspects of personality development. It is quite apt that the school has adopted Strive to Excel as its motto.

 Aims at inculcating this philosophy. We translate this philosophy into a reality in the classrooms at different levels.
Pre-Primary Level:
 Learning through carefully crafted activity-based programs for cognitive skills and emphasis on neatness.
 Learning while playing in fun filled, relaxed atmosphere using modern technology.
 Phonetic based language development and fluency.
 Development of neuron–muscular coordination, social and emotional adjustment

Primary Level:
 To achieve fluency in spoken and written English through interactive teaching methods.
 An introduction to the environment through activities and observation.
 Till primary classes the school aims to be Burden less.

Secondary Level:
 Major thrust on fluency in spoken and written English.
 Activity oriented teaching with the help of modern teaching aids.
 Minimizing the stereotyped copying of notes and learning by heart.
 Ensuring a high level of computer literacy and online learning.
 To provide actual concept of different subjects by project work, Educational tour, etc.

ACADEMIC SYSTEM:
The system at Indus Academy aims at making each stage an enjoyable and unique experiences. The curriculum is conformity with the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE board influencing the child’s personality in every sphere and also grooming them for tomorrow’s world.

SCHOOL SESSION:
The school session will be from April till March with a long vacation in July for summer, December (24th December to 1st January days) for winter and last week of March for session ending.
The school timings are from 8.20 a.m. to 2.20 p.m. and are staggered for different sections 3.50 hrs. for pre-primary (class Nursery to class 2 )
5.60 hrs for primary ( class-3 to class-5 ), 5.50hrs for upper primary ( class -6 to class-8 ) and 6.15 hrs for secondary ( class -9 to class -10 )
