INDUS ACADEMY : ITS EVOLUTION-A GLIMPSE
Under the backdrop of the national and local school educational scenario, a group of seven enterprising social activists, academicians and entrepreneurs of Jagiroad assembled in the early part of this century and had constant brainstorming sessions strongly feeling the urgency of developing the school education scenario of the township. A number of informal discussions were held with guardians and prominent citizens of Jagiroad and its vicinity which added momentum for establishing a school under the CBSE curriculum that would fulfill the long existing vacant space in terms of school education of the area. The Indus Educational Trust, thus, was established and registered as a trust paving the way for the establishment of Indus Academy at Jagiroad.
